What Is a "Portable" Toilet?

Ever wish you had your own toilet with you while hiking in the woods?  How many times have you stood in line to use a public toilet?  Even while waiting - you could smell it.  You realized right there and then that there's a big hole (forgive the pun) in the toilet industry.  What is needed - and badly - is an affordable "personal toilet."  Something light enough to carry around in the car or in an ordinary backpack, or on-your-person, right?

In the toilet industry, a toilet that can be carried on the back of a truck - is "portable."  A 300 pound cabana-style toilet is considered "portable" - even though it's put on and taken off a truck with a forklift.  We have an entirely different take on the phrase "portable" toilet.  A portable toilet is one that can be easily carried on your person.  A portable computer is carried on your person.  If it can't be carried on your person, then it's not portable.  It's a desktop computer.  We recommend the toilet industry begin referring to their "porta pottys" as "truckable toilets."

I believe they are called portable toilets for the mere fact that they are moved for one location to another for restroom use. Truck-a-Potty just dosen't sound right........

I just read from the search engines a post about a portable toilet that meets your description perfectly. What it was - was a cardboard box (essentially) that when unfolded stood up and a "poo bag" was attached at the hole of the box. at that time you do your business, throw away the bag, and your back at your daily routine.
