Camping With Twin 5-Year Old Boys

We have five-year-old twin boys.  They are really uncomfortable with the squatting method when they have to go in the woods.  So we have been limiting our camping adventures to sites with accessible bathrooms.  However living in Colorado there are many beautiful places to explore and camp at which are off the beaten path and do not have facilities.  The Pack-it Toilet has made those places accessible.  We were recently camping in a high mountain area and we set up the toilet in a spot and showed the boys where it was...this made them much more secure and they were easily able to use it and were very comfortable with it.  Now we can go camping anywhere it is permitted and are not limited to developed recreational areas.  Thank you for this great and convenient product! -The Stewart Family

This product helped me feel at ease

I thought the Packit toilet was extremely well constructed. Typically I do not find myself "comfortable" in the woods, this product helped me feel at ease. I would recommend this product to any camper friend, and will purchase one for myself.

Impressed with its strength and ease of use

During a recent camping trip I had the opportunity to use the new Packit Toilet. I consider myself an outdoors person and usually don't have a problem digging a hole and burying my waste, but there is always the challenge of finding the right spot, not digging up others waste, burying deep enough that the dog or other animals won't find the waste, etc.

When my friend initially showed up with the Packit Toilet I was a bit skeptical due to its size and minimal weight. But after testing it out I was very impressed with its strength and ease of use.

I like the fact that it does not require any clean up and I don't have to work out my quads before I go camping just so I can use the bathroom. There were several of us that used the Packit Toilet throughout the weekend and all of us stated it made going camping a little easier.

Great product!

Primitive camping is not for everyone. We have an all woman's camping annual camping group and amongst us we have every type of camper; the ultimate outdoor gear head/backpacker to the “I only go camping once a year” and everything in between. Since this is a fairly large group of funny loving woman we select places to camp that are off the beaten track so that we don't disturb others. These places always end up being primitive - no running water and no toilets - so we've always made do and those that are the none campers grouse about a lack of having a toilet.

This year we surprised everyone with a Packit Toilet and biodegradable bags. We were skeptical about it holding our weight - but after a "dry run" and an explanation about how to attach the bags and what to do with them - we felt pretty comfortable with it. Over the three nights with eight woman the Packit Toilet was well used and never failed us. The fact that it comes with environmentally friendly - 100% biodegradable bags is fantastic. Just one word of advice, dig a hole in advance. Don't let the bags sit out - they really do start to dissolve.

The Packit Toilet is now a part of not only our annual woman's camping trip stock items, but several have added them to their personal camping gear, even the gear-head wants one. Great product!
